Exploring real estate asset tokenization in the UK

Codefi and Her Majesty’s Land Registry engaged in a workshop to discuss the technical requirements of real asset tokenization. Codefi customized a digital asset management platform in under 3 weeks to demonstrate the tokenization process as part of HMLR’s exploration of blockchain technology in the UK real estate industry.

 

Codefi's asset tokenization platform achieved the following: 

    • The creation Title Tokens on the Ethereum public blockchain linked to real-world assets

    • The creation of fractional tokens to represent beneficial interest ownership in an asset

    • The issuance of fractional tokens to subscribers

    • The exchange of fractional tokens on the Codefi marketplace 

    • The execution of compliant marketplace transaction
